We invited more than 50 media along to two separate press tours. Cool locations were sourced in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich for journalists to try out the game and get to know the Anki President, Hanns Tappeiner. Each location was set built to replicate the atmosphere in the game.
Over 100 articles appeared in the various media genres (print, online, TV, radio) in the first 6 weeks after the events alone.
Anki was able to implement all goals through intelligent media work and accordingly generate attention within the core target groups.
